I have to say, FMA has really stepped up their game when it comes to quality. This headset a replica of the OPS Core AMP is probably the best airsoft replica I’ve used so far. It works flawlessly and doesn’t break the bank.
Over the years, I’ve tried and owned many different headsets from various brands both real and replica and this one honestly surprised me in the best way.
What really impressed me is that I didn’t just use it for airsoft I also tested it on the shooting range. It handled everything I threw at it without any issues:
7.65 Browning, 7.62x25 Tokarev, 9x19, 12 gauge (birdshot, buckshot, even overpowered buckshot), .223 Remington, and 7.62x39.
The electronic hearing system worked perfectly the whole time, with no damage or malfunctions whatsoever.
After years of searching for the right headset that fits me well and actually works as intended, I think I’ve finally found it.
The only downside I noticed is that the ear cups create a bit of pressure or suction on my ears, which makes wearing them slightly uncomfortable during the first few minutes.
That said, it might just be a personal issue – my friend didn’t experience it at all. If anyone does find it uncomfortable, swapping the ear pads for gel ones should solve the problem easily.
